Bolt Bunny provides internet speed testing services with our proprietary AIM Score metric. Our Service allows you to:
- Test download and upload speeds
- Measure ping and jitter
- Calculate your AIM Score (a composite network quality metric)
- View test history and analytics (Pro users)
- Schedule automated speed tests (Business users)
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the Service at any time, with or without notice.
3. User Accounts and Registration
To access certain features of the Service, you may need to create an account. When creating an account, you agree to:
- Provide accurate, current, and complete information
- Maintain and promptly update your account information
- Keep your password secure and confidential
- Accept responsibility for all activities under your account
- Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or that we believe, in our sole discretion, pose a risk to our Service or other users.
4. Acceptable Use Policy
You agree NOT to use the Service to:
- Violate any applicable laws or regulations
- Overload our servers with excessive automated testing
- Circumvent rate limits or security measures
- Manipulate or falsify test results
- Use the service for network attacks or malicious purposes
- Resell the Service without authorization
- Interfere with other users' access to the Service
Note: Violation of our acceptable use policy may result in immediate account termination without refund.
5. Payment Terms
For paid subscription plans:
- Payment Processing: All payments are processed securely through Stripe. We do not store your complete payment card information.
- Subscription Billing: Subscriptions are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis, depending on your selected plan.
- Automatic Renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled before the renewal date.
- Price Changes: We may change our prices with 30 days notice. Existing subscriptions will honor current pricing until renewal.
- Refunds: We offer a 30-day refund policy for annual subscriptions. Monthly subscriptions may be cancelled at any time but are non-refundable for the current billing period.
6. Intellectual Property
The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Snapit Software and are protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws.
The AIM Score algorithm and methodology are proprietary to Snapit Software.
7. Speed Test Accuracy
While we strive to provide accurate speed test results:
- Results may vary based on network conditions, device performance, and other factors
- Speed tests measure connectivity to our servers, not your ISP's maximum capability
- Results should be used as a general indicator, not as definitive proof of service levels
- We are not liable for decisions made based on speed test results
8. Service Availability
We strive to maintain high availability but provide the Service on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis.
- Free Tier: No service level agreement (SLA) is provided.
- Paid Tiers: We make commercially reasonable efforts to maintain uptime.
We are not liable for any downtime that may affect speed test availability.
9. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:
- THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND
- WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE
- WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES
- OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT PAID BY YOU IN THE PAST 12 MONTHS
10. Termination
We may terminate or suspend your access to the Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including breach of these Terms.
Upon termination:
- Your right to use the Service ceases immediately
- Test history and saved data may be deleted after 30 days
You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us or using the account settings.
11. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
12. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes by:
- Posting the updated Terms on our website
- Updating the "Effective Date" at the top of this page
- Sending email notification for significant changes (for registered users)
Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
